Even at a distance, “Nobody Does Winter Better” than the Ely Winter Festival! We decided early on that this party was not going to be cancelled, so we’ve gone more digital than we’ve ever gone before. Think new content every day on our website, www.elywinterfestival.com., and our Facebook page. Drone flights, snowshoe hikes, interviews with artists, Ely Folk School classes, and so much more. Everything we have going on is listed in our brochure, available locally, and on the calendar on our website. From there, you can follow links to contact the hosts of these events.

Even though we have only five snow sculptures in Whiteside Park, you’ll see that our local carvers can create art that’s as good as anyone’s. You’ll be able to tour the Ely ArtWalk for the whole month of February. Just walk past our merchants’ storefronts. Amateur snow carvings are in the yards of their creators scattered all over town, and in front of Carefree Living Ely.
